Since then, Robin has held progressively more challenging roles. She fell in love with the work and hasn’t looked back. Robin has been working in the senior care field since the early 1990s when her first job out of college was an activity assistant in a memory care unit. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s in Education in Adult Education from the University of Georgia, and a Certification at Master's Level in Gerontology from the University of Georgia. Robin provides guidance, support, resources, and advocacy to older adults and their families during the long-term care journey. As a result, she was featured in the Memory Bridge 2018 documentary Love is Listening as well as the animated production of Superhero based on her personal love story with her father. ![]() ![]() Mary Jo’s professional quest turned deeply personal when her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 65. The professional credentials she picked up along the way (Certified Care Manager, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, just to name a few) are of great benefit to Kimbrough Law clients. During her career, she has worked as a licensed nursing home administrator, designed state-of-the-art memory care facilities, worked as a dementia trainer, served as adjunct faculty at a major university, and even owned and operated a very specialized memory care assisted living. With more than 30 years of experience in the geriatrics field, Mary Jo is a passionate advocate for quality care. For twenty years, he taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law. He then began practicing law in Athens, specializing in income tax, international tax, estate and gift tax, and estate planning. Raised in Pine Mountain, Georgia, he graduated from Auburn University with a degree (B.S.) in Economics earned his law degree (J.D.) at the University of Georgia School of Law in 1973 and received a Master of Laws in Taxation degree (LL.M.) from New York University School of Law in 1976.
